The Story Behind Voices of the Covenant

After coming to the Messiah, I stopped listening to secular music. But at the same time, I found that I couldn’t really listen to what is called “Christian music” either. Much of it doesn’t line up with Scripture doctrinally, and often reflects beliefs and lifestyles that are not truly centered on following the Messiah. Many of the songs focus more on personal emotion than on the truth of the Word, and they rely on titles like “God” and “Lord” rather than honoring the name of the Father. Over time, it became clear that there wasn’t much music available for those who desire something rooted fully in Scripture — music (along with the artist) that reflects truth, obedience, and reverence for Yahuah and Yahusha.
Before the music ever started, I was studying Scripture. I began digging into Scripture for myself — looking at context, history, and testing what I had been taught. There is a lot of noise to wade through, especially within the Torah community, and it can be difficult to discern truth from added teachings, opinions, traditions and personal convictions.
While many recognize the issue of man-made doctrine & traditions in Christianity, I began to see that the same thing can happen within the Torah community as well — whether influenced by Judaism or other sources. Because of that, my focus became simple: go back to the Word itself. These studies started as something personal — just learning and searching for truth — but I began sharing them for others who are doing the same. The goal has always been to ask, What does Scripture actually say? and to stay rooted in that alone.
Out of that place, the music came. I’ve always enjoyed writing, and eventually I realized I could take those words and turn them into songs— music that is grounded in Scripture, that truly honors Yahuah and Yahusha. It also became a way to create something for others like me — those who no longer listen to secular music, but also cannot connect with most Christian music. Voices of the Covenant grew from that process — a desire to stay rooted in the Word, remove the noise, and point back to Yahuah and His truth through both study and song. Voices of the Covenant began from a simple desire to honor Yahuah and walk in truth according to His Word.
This space exists for those who are seeking clarity, truth, and a deeper understanding of Yahuah’s Word — without the distractions, additions, or distortions that can lead people away from it. Voices of the Covenant is about returning to the voice of Yahuah, and the covenant He has established. The name Voices of the Covenant comes from a desire to return to the voice of Yahuah. It also represents the voices of the prophets and those who were faithful to His covenant — the ones whose words are preserved in Scripture. Through them, His truth has been passed down, and it is through these voices that we are meant to learn His ways and understand His Word, rather than relying on the added teachings of men, but the truth spoken through those who walked in obedience to Him.

Mission of Voices of the Covenant

The mission of Voices of the Covenant is to glorify Yahuah and Yahusha in all things. To proclaim the true Gospel of the Kingdom, rooted in Scripture. To create music that honors the names of Yahuah and Yahusha and reflects His Word in truth and sound doctrine. To provide clear, Scripture-based studies that help others test what they have been taught and return to what is written. To encourage and strengthen those who desire to walk in obedience to Yahuah’s commandments out of love. The purpose of Voices of the Covenant is to point hearts back to the Father, through the Son, and to support those who are seeking to walk the narrow path. Whether you are just beginning your journey or have been walking this path for some time this space exists to edify the body, strengthen the remnant, and call others to return to the covenant of Yahuah.
